Natural birth after emergency C Section

My husband and I are starting to talk about trying for another baby and it has me thinking do I want to try for a VBAC? My first baby was born after a 26 hour labour where I had difficulty dilating and then little miss turned into a posterior position and went into distress and I was rushed for an emergency Caesar. I was hoping some mums out there could share their VBAC stories and opinions on wether I try to go naturally (which I'd love to do) and risk the same happening or just take the elective c-section?!
Thanks in advance :)

This is my dilemma too. I had a similar experience to yours with my first and we are starting to think about having another. I think part of me would really regret not trying for a VBAC and the other part of me would just prefer to elect for the c-sect and know exactly what's going to happen!

There are some VBAC groups on Facebook you could look at joining, and of course when you do get pregnant you need to speak to your doctor/midwife and make sure that they are completely on board with whatever you choose (and are going to allow you the freedom to change your mind if that's what you want to do!).
