Hi IMs,
I need help, advice, support anything.... I'm at breaking point in my marriage because of my PMDD. I was diagnosed with this at the beginning of the year but had always been aware I had pms but as I get older it gets worse. I started taking Lovan and it was working but after a few months it didn't seem to have the same effect. So then I tried vitex and that did not help at all. Them trying some evening primrose oil which was no help. I don't want to take antidepressants for it. I have read online that there is a couple of birth control pills you can take which you only have 4 periods a year (seasonique) and 1 period a year (lybrel). Does anyone know if these are available in australia? Otherwise I was going to go back on the pill (my husband had vasectomy) and skip the red pills so I never get my period so I do not have to go through this every month. I turn into a complete different person... Angry abusive sad resentful depressed oh my the list goes on... My husband has had enough and said he cannot keep dealing coping with this each month along with my two sons aged 6 & 2. Please help!!

I haven't experienced it myself but Im wondering if something like the mirena is worth a shot? For some women it cuts out periods all together or they only have a few. Worth speaking to someone about it anyway. Also your pharmacist should be able to tell you if the pills you mention are available
If try seeing a naturopath
This is exactly how I am and I have started to see a gynocologist to help me, and also a naturopath to see if I can get some help. Good Luck
Hi, I also suffer from this. I find taking Vit B6, Evening Prim Rose Oil and fish oil all blackmores brand is a great combo. I suffered really bad side effects from antidepressants and the pill Yaz. I was advised by my doctor to take the above as they together work. I do suffer with some syptoms but no where near as bad. Good luck with it all and I hope you find something that works for you
