Hi Ladie - I have my second baby on the way. O am planning on moving my 2.5 yr old to a big boy bedroom and giving his whole cot nursery setup to the new baby.
My question is do you recommend buying a toddler bed or a single bed? What is the difference? What is ur experience?
Thanks in advance

Toddler bed is lower to ground n easy to get in n out of but uses a cot mattress.
I prefer single beds maybe with a trundle as they use it onger n makes more sence to buy one instead of twp. We have s single bed with trundle n use a bed rail. Daughter uses a childs chair to get up n down on bed.
U can buy a single bed with a railing works really well for my kids. Make sure u include him in the buying process and let him pick what sheets he wants to get him really excited and proud of moving to a single bed
We actually just went straight to a double bed, and put side rails on so there was no risk of falling out. That way the bed will last a lot longer before our son out grows it. And it was easier then if he had a bad dream cause I could lay down next to him for a while until he settled so it was more comfier for both of us :)
I have two kids. Both went straight to single beds with safety rails. My daughter is two in 6 weeks and has been in her bed for a few months. She loves it and climbs on to it on her own
We got a king single and used a bed rail at same age. King single is great if you need to lie in there with him for a night still heaps of room or even better heaps of room for all 3 for reading stories and playing with new bub in his big boy bed
King single is fantastic, a little bigger and for my son I now just have a pillow under the sheet either side of him. Initially I put a rail up.
