Mole removal for babies

Omg I feel terrible !

For the past few months I have been lathering my 10 month old in an oil based mix to try deter sandfly and Mosquitos in our open lounge room. I have suddenly noticed about 5 dark moles on her neck and face. She was born quite olive and doesn't get all that much sun exposure. I have about 1 mole on my entire body her father also doesn't have hardly any. All I can attribute it to is that I've been covering her in oil . I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has any natural remedies that can remove the moles and a non oil based mosquito repellent

Moles can't be caused by something you put on the skin. Some people just have more than others and has very little to do with what the parents skin is like. My sister has heaps of moles her kids have none, I have none my son has heaps. You should get the moles checked by your GP as a precaution and there is no way to remove moles without surgery.
If they are freckles then wearing a very good sunscreen and hat when in the sun will help them fade over time

Thought the oil was amplifying the sun. Sort off like the oily suntan lotion people apply. Not actually causing it itself.

Olive skin complexions will be mole-prone. I am (and most of my moles are in non-sun exposure areas) and my daughter is and started getting moles/freckles around the same age.

The only way to remove moles is surgical - and they don't need to be removed. She will likely have quite a few moles which, while not a problem on themselves, will need to be watched as she gets older. I have a mole scan yearly. I've had a number of them off but they've all been benign (non-cancerous). Just watch the sun exposure and make sure to put sunscreen on :)

I understad what you are saying about the oil attracting the sun, but if she doesnt get much sun then i dont think thats a problem. My daughter has olive skin and she has many moles and yet my pale sons dont have them, so i just assumed it was something darker skin people are prone to.
Ask your local chemist if they can reccommend something for the flies and mozzies
