Midlife crisis :(

Midlife crisis :(

Does anyone else out there just hate what they look like? After 2 kids and weight fluctuations, I'm about to turn 40 and my body is a total mess. Stretch marks EVERYWHERE, cellulite, saggy skin, wrinkles, hormonal acne... there's nothing to love. I feel so sorry for my poor husband. He could have someone hot but instead he got a wreck. Does anything work to make bodies better??

I look like this after my kids too, completely normal and completely normal to hate it too ?. Exercise will probably help with the cellulite, but as for stretch marks, wrinkles, saggy skin, Not much other than surgery. ?. It's not fair being a woman is it

I don't hate my body anymore, but I used to. Cellulite, stretch marks, and saggy skin have a lot to do with genetics. All the women in my family have them to varying degrees although I've got the most.
Now this is going to sound odd. As a single mumma I've never had trouble attracting men. I'm overweight and have all the things you describe and if I wanted to meet someone now I have 5 guys I could call. I'm not in a relationship because I don't want one. I know bizarre right. Guys don't care, beauty really does come from within and it's all about attitude.

See it as an opportunity. Rock bottom. I had a double mastectomy and lost my hair and gained 10kg with chemo. I know how you feel. Now I kick box twice a week and play netball and none if it feels like a chore. I've lost the weight and rock a mad hair do. I'm only going up and I'm talking about my body image not my health. I feel better than ever. Find something you love that makes you feel great and is fun. Make big changes. Hair, lifestyle, clothes. Ask yourself 'why not'. Good luck.
