First time mum here so sorry if I sound silly. I had my nuchal translucency scan at 12 weeks exactly. The man who did my scan actually said bub is measuring 13w1d; so 1w1d further than I am. Does this mean my due date is a week earlier or will I have a large baby? Also, do I now consider myself 13w along or still 12w? It's all so confusing!
Thanks!

Don't worry about it. It's just a guide. My measurements were out every time. Speak to your doctor about implications but I'd still class my self as 12 weeks along.
They will change your due date according to the Nuchal scan as it's the most accurate. They say all babies grow at the same rate and it's not until after 12weeks that genetics etc come into play. Well that's what science says)
I'm currently pregnant and the same thing happened to be, I knew my dates, knew when I fel pregnant and ovulated but they didn't want to hear a bar of it. According to the hospital im due 10th aug, even tho according to my dates it's 18th August. My 19week scan showed bub at the gestation of my dates but still the hospital goes by the 12week scan.
Best not to let it affect you, I just go off the hospitals date now, but if I do go over my 10th aug due date I will not let them induce me until after my date of 18th. All my other pregnancies I've gone early or on my due date so I'm hoping it doesn't come to it.
Yep, they'll class you as 13w. This happened to me... I was a full week ahead than what I thought and they took my EDD based on the scan date :)
Yes those dates are edd / gestation not size and they go by the early scan dates they say are most reliable, however expect to go two weeks over anyway, I find if you don't it gets really hard to wait at the end.
