Hi everyone,
We are about to embark on an 8 hour car trip with our 15 month old. Any tips/tricks to help keep her settled along the way please? We will be doing the whole trip in one day and returning a week later, also in a single day.

Queens greatest hits, Metallica, plenty of snacks/drinks easily accessible in the car, DVD player, and pillows and blanket. Plan your stops.
I think Kmart have an attachment with lots of pockets that you strap on to the front seat so the toddler can easily access their toys. Lots of books and lots of exercise when you stop for breaks.
Stop occasionally so she can stretch her legs -'be a good girl we'll stop at the park'
You can pick up a stable table for the car for under $20 so she can colour/draw or eat. Take plenty of snacks. If you have a portable DVD player, maybe put her favourite show in for a while. Dress her in comfy clothes in case she naps during the trip. Get a kids cd so you can sing together in the car...good luck
