My little girl has just started kinder, she seems to be getting worse every day I drop her of she nearyl gets tears in her eyes and dosent want me to leave , it's breaking my heart. The teacher says she is fine during the day , I guess I'm just after tips or any suggestions on how to handle it. Thanx

Not sure on what you can do, as there isn't much but to be strong! and tell her she will be fine. Tell her positive things, she has friends there or can make new friends, she will have fun doing new things, activities etc, re assure her that she is safe and school is a great learning centre and that when you pick her up, she can tell you all about it:) good luck.
My little girl is the same when I drop her off at childcare. There are lots of tears and begging for me to stay. It is heartbreaking. But take comfort in the fact that she is fine during the day. My DD's childcare tells me she stops crying after I leave and plays and interacts with other kids just fine. When I come to pick her up, she sometimes does not even look up from the playdough she is playing with or she runs around and keeps playing like she does not want to leave! Buy books that has something to do with kids going to school and their mum/dad dropping them off at school and point out that the charactes aren't crying because they know they'll have a lot of fun. Go on after kindy dates so she can tell you about her day. Goodluck!
