Hey IM's,
My daughter is 20 months old. She has always been well fed and is a little porker. Lately I give her food and she won't even eat half but will scavenge the bin & throw food around the house from the cupboard and the fridge. I have a lock on the cupboard and the bin is kept in a cupboard now. I send quite a lot of food (about 8 items) for her to eat at childcare, and she has started going through the bins there as well. I'm at a loss at what to do... It's like no matter what I feed her or how much she keeps doing it. So is it just a phase or is she seriously not getting enough food as her childcare teacher suggests? I am absolutely shattered. I have never felt this horrible. :(
Is it just a phase or something more?

It's probably a phase! I think we have all been through some form of this with our kids (yes my kid did eat that piece of filthy toast he found under the sofa).
It wouldn't hurt to get her weighed and discuss her development with your GP. That way you can have the confidence saying to childcare that she has enough food!
You may want to rule out prader-willie syndrome too
