Infant Vitamins or Probiotics?

My infant is 8 months old and has just started daycare three days a week. I had every intention of mix feeding, however due to medical reasons I have had to make the heart breaking decision to fully formula feed. Not the best timing just having started daycare. Just wanting to know if there are any vitamins or probiotics out there to introduce to my baby to give that extra immune boost? Are they even worth it or just a waste of money?

You dont need to give your baby vitamins or probiotics if they are formula fed. Formula milk includes a whole bunch of extras already, as your baby is 8 months old and also at daycare they will be getting extra nutrients from food which will be starting to take up the bulk of their diet and will start strengthening their immunity just by being around other children and in various environments too.

I couldnt breast feed my 3 children but they were always very healthy and happy and have grown up to be the same. Dont worry about having to formula feed if you are unable to breastfeed. Theres a fair bit of misrepresentation around.

Most products out there are a waste of money including probiotics. There is nothing you can do to really ward off the daycare colds and bugs other than a balanced diet.
