Hi guys!
Next week I have to fly 10 hours with my 2 year old boy.
This is an unexpected trip due to death of a family member. I am on my own (solo mum).
I'm looking for advice and tips as to how to keep him amused please.
I also want some HELPFUL advice on natural sedatives for him.
I had never thought about doing this before but apparently it's common and you can get drops made of all natural ingredients for kids similar to 'rescue remedy' ?
Any advice would be greatly received.
Thanks

I've taken my toddler on 2 14 hour flights to the USA and back! I found my toddler slept most of the flight! He watched a little TV but the sound and motion of the plane sent him off to sleep! I'd suggest taking a few favourite toys and taking him on short walks to break up the sitting! Take some snacks for him!
Be mindful their little ears can hurt with taking of and landing so have something he can suck on during those times!
Most of all try and relax!
Giving him a dose of panadol can help calm him. Making sure he has lot's of snacks (not high in sugar as you don't need him having a sugar high in a confined space). Maybe an iPad with head phones so he can play games/watch his fav show. letting him walk with you up and down the aisle a few times every hr? I don't know anything you can't give to him to relax him? From over seas I found like a travel calm for babies but I haven't seen anything like that here is AUS. maybe ask chemist or doc for suggestions.
