I'm on the implanon bar. but sorry if tmi but have milky white discharge (swear I've only had this while being pregnant) and sore nipples. I normally have heavy periods, my last period last week was really light for 3 days. Normally it's a week.
Anyone fallen pregnant on the bar? Same symptoms, I've taken a test and negative. But since periods are whack I don't know when normal cycle is..... I'm confused!

Best is to speak to your doctor.
The milky discharge was normal from the first month though I had chronic light bleeding on it so it quickly turned pink. And I became anemic. Its normal for implanon to cause periods to become lighter and shorter if not stopping them entirely but if worried give the implant literature a read (you can find it on google) and speak to your doc.
Remember the implanon releases hormones into your body and your body will respond to those hormones so there will be side effects (changes)
I had my bar in for 3 years and i swear for the first year i thought i was pregnant. it turned out that it was just the way my body reacted to the implanon. I was lucky it was only that, i didnt get the weight gain or anything like that, I just got pregnancy symptoms every so ofton. i also only got my period every 6-7 weeks. it was never consistent. if you are ever concerned see your Gp.
I had so many pregnancy symptoms with the bar. It sucks.
