Im needing reassurance during pregnancy

Hi ladies,
I am currently 33 weeks pregnant. This is my miracle baby after being told i couldnt have kids.
I have a high bmi, but have lost a significant amount of weight both before and during my pregnancy (30 kilos over the last year, 7 this pregnancy). My last menstrual period put me 3 weeks ahead of dating scan due date. Due to my weight i have had scans every 3 weeks baby has consistently measured 3 weeks ahead (which would match my Lmp) however even after 4 gestational diabetes tests with only 1 result (the fasting result at 28 weeks was 5.2) being .1 over acceptable (5.1) drs have tried labelling me as diabetic not gestational diabetes, actual diabetes. They are sending me for a 5th diabetes test and if this one is borderline (as the 4th one was) i will be labelled diabetic and have to have a caesarean.... i really would like a drug free, natural birth. I dont know what i want.... maybe just some reassurance but it has made me so upset that these people think its easy to label someone with a disease rather then find an actual solution. Has anyone else experienced this? Am i overreacting? I have lost 7 kilo and i have been watching what i eat what more can i do to prove i dont have diabetes?

Honey I think you are over reacting. The doctors goal is to have a healthy, live baby and mother. Yes under normal perfect world circumstances a natural birth is safer than a cessation and even then things can go badly. My son is case in point and only just made it out alive. In that moment you don't give a toss how your baby gets here, you just want it alive.
Now wether you are labeled gestational diabetes or diabetic either way, in a lot of cases you'd be advised to have a c-section, so I think your arguing a point without a difference where the result would be the same. Sometimes there just isn't a solution.

I would say get a second opinion if you're concerned. You have to advocate for yourself and speak up.
I had an extremely high BMI - 46 during my pregnancy and had a perfect drug free natural birth.
All the best and remember however baby arrives as long as you are both ok that's all that matters.

I had a high bmi for all 3 pregnancies and all 3 natural labour's although 2 needed inducing. Definitely get a second opinion
