I've gotten positives the day before my p's where due but know of other women that don't get a positive till there actually late
I tried the 'early detection' test a few days before I was due, came back negative. (Thinking back, it may have been really faint positive, but I didn't notice.) Did a normal HPT the day I was due in the evening and got a very faint positive. Was another 2 days before the line was easily seen.
I got a positive for my daughter about 6 days after ovulation
I just got a positive this week after two negatives I am 8 weeks pregnant it showed negative at 5 and 7 weeks
First pregnancy I got a positive the day my period was due, second pregnancy I got a positive 6 days before my period was due. My friend did not get a positive test until she was approx 9 weeks along (blood test at the doctors and a dating scan did confirm pregnancy at 5 weeks though).
