It depends on age. A max of $100 per child up until age 5 as kids under that age are more interested in the box and wrapping paper! A maximum of $200 per child up until about 13.

I was going to ask this question hehe
I haven't really kept track of how much I've spent this year as I've picked things up throughout the year. Although past years I've probably spent about $100 per child. This year though they are so excited! (3 year old twins) and I have gone a little overboard but that's ok, we have been trying to do up our yard for 3 years and we are hoping for Christmas we will have it all ready for them! In presents for Santa maybe $150 each but that's just a quess plus whatever we spend on the yard (cubby/sandpit/sun shade)
I'm excited for Christmas!

We get $1500 in vouchers from hamperking which obviously are paid off through the year - but that ain't all on presents!! We have two boys, and this year we're looking at around $150 each max (that's covering presents from us & their Santa sacks)The kids already have so much, we simply aren't going to be buying things for the hell of it. Really, that budget is only so high due to the eldest needing a new bike! The rest on the vouchers we use for larger household items we may need (like a bbq we bought last year) & even groceries to free up some of our weekly budget so we can actually aford to go out for lunch/dinner for a change!

I'm probably spending about $200-250 this year. I have one child who is 5. I have really tried to pick things that will still be interesting to her in a few months time or things that can have added to it, for future presents, eg. Leapfrog/leapreader :) she won't be getting presents from extended family however.

I've spent approx $150-$200 per child (I have 3 kids) I usually do 5 presents, 1 main present from Santa, 2 medium pressie and 2 smaller pressies. This includes stocking fillers. I don't usually have a budget, I just spend whatever. Last christmas i spent approx $1500 but that included a big wooden swing set and some presents.

I have one child and I have spent around $400. But if I see something else I think he might like I will buy that too. There is no limit for my child. I see I like I buy. Simple. I do admit I started shopping a fair while ago so it didn't seem like I was broke at christmas. I will probably spend around $500 per child each year. As I like to see the joy on the faces. Oh that is including santa presents. Xx

I spend a good 1000 dollars but this because I don't get them anything during the year the only time they get new toys is for Christmas. They don't get much of a present for birthdays as I use throw them a party which is a fee hundred dollars and I think that's enough will usually just buy chocolate and a card and let them get gifts from friends and family. They don't get gifts from family or their dad for Christmas that's why I go over board.also includes all their clothing for the new year. Personally I love waking up Christmas morning and spending like an hour opening presents but that's just me. Obviously can't be like this for everyone
