I'm trying to get DS to drink water without any luck.
Tried warm, room temp and cold h2o, in a bottle, sippy cup, normal cup and from a spoon.
He's quite constipated and doc has encouraged me to keep trying to get him to drink water but I'm out of ideas. Help!

Just try giving him lots of juicy fruits, like watermelon, cucumber etc. The water content is really high. You cld also try making it fun too by sitting him in the bath with a cup with the tap on, get him to fill the cup up himself.. u might find he naturally takes some sips while playing. If he has milk drinks u cld try watering them down... depending on his age? Also, just try giving him a couple of prunes or something similar as a snack each day.
Maybe a bit of brown sugar in the bottle?I know it's not ideal but if it's a way to help him then that could work.. also depending on age you could try parachoc in his bottle or even coloxy drops
Please don't put sugar in a bottle, not only is it unhealthy but will rot their teeth. Try watermelon or home made iceblocks. Even a wash cloth (clean) soaked in water for your child to suck on
my kids dont really like water either, but LOVE ice cubes, so i have heaps on hand, especially in summer :)
My daughter never really liked water until one day I went and purchased a variety of cups/drink bottles filled them all up and pretended to drink from each. I made a very satisfied "ahhhhh" sound at the end of each drink and made it look to her like she was missing out. Very quickly she started drinking more water (I still make a conscious effort to offer her drinks hourly) and started making a cute "aaaaah" sound at the end of each drink!
Our son was not a fan of water, until we gave him Rattley Water.. ice cubes in a drink bottled. We made a big deal of the noise .. had fun making the noise and did not mind drinking the water at all
