Hi Everyone, I'm really intreged about a TV show on at the moment called "I didn't know I was pregnant". Does this really happen? It just baffles me how they didn't know, have any of you been pregnant and not known until they have gone into labour? I would love to hear your story!!

It does really happen! Happened to a woman I know who was very over weight and had periods rarely. She had no idea and went to the emergency department in pain which turned out to be labour.
That's amazing!! I guess if you are really over weight it wouldn't be as easy to tell, but the woman on this show I watch are a normal weight. I just remember being pregnant and there was no mistaking the fact lol.
Not me but a girl I was friends with. She wasn't overweight but is very tall and has a retroverted uterus (so she didn't show - I knew her during the first pregnancy and during her second and third ones and she never looked pregnant), had an anterior placenta so kicks were masked and had zero symptoms. Also didn't have regular periods so didn't realise anything was amiss.
I always wondered how you wouldn't know but I know it's possible with the right set of circumstances.
