How do I bond with my kids?

Hi all.
I have a bit of an issue, lately I have felt like I'm a failure at parenting my two children. I'm on my own with very little help (which doesn't bother me at all)
I believe that I use to be a great mum, the kids and I would always do things together and bonded really well, we still do quite a bit together like playing, reading, fishing, cooking ect, but I feel like I have slacked off. My children are 3 & 5, they are good kids, but they fight, talk back and all little things that have started to really get at me (I understand they're kids and what they're doing is normal) I just don't feel like we're bonding anymore.
I guess I'm just looking for help with how to bond with my kids.

You sound like an awesome mum! This is going to sound odd but do you get anytime for you? Time away from my kid allows me to come home rejuvenated and more energetic about activities even if its a bath with candles when the kids are in bed. Also maybe try some new activities/outings you haven't tried before and even some 1:1 activities where you send one child to a friends to play. I also think it's important for kids to learn to give back because we give so awfully much. My kid likes brushing my hair (which I love) and putting cream on my feet :)
