How do I become a recruitment officer?

Hi,

Im in Qld, im wanting to know what's the best thing to study to get into recruitment? I'm wanting to become a recruitment officer and while work is short everywhere I'm wanting to study something like a tafe course, not wanting a 4 year uni course though.
