Hi sisters , last night I was robbed as I slept .. Yes my doors were locked .. Didn't stop them at all and they have stolen my wallet filled with my rent , fuel and food money as well as both my daughters money boxes with over $150 of their hard earned savings stolen :( I will endeavor to replace my little girls' money boxes but as I'm a single mother with a sperm donor as a father to my girls what options do I have so that I can get food for my girls lunch and dinners this week? We live pay check to pay check since I left my ex husband and I feel so sick that I'm for the first time ever in a position where I literally have no money and no idea what to do.. Sorry for rambling mess I'm just so upset that this has happened . If anyone could recommend services to get us through this week and next until I can make up for this weeks missed rent payment I'd be so greatful. And no there is no option speaking to ex.. He is a drug addict who never has and never will care for us .

So sorry to hear. You must be feeling terrible :( Firstly get onto Centrelink and ask if they can help. If not Salvation army or St Vincent De Pauls my be able to help.
The police should have given you a booklet with a bunch of info in it. It has a heap of groups that can help you out on it.
They weren't very helpful at all :( seemed annoyed if anything . Must have had a rougher night than me

If you get FTB and/or Parenting Payment, you can apply for an advance which is paid back over a period in small amounts. Otherwise you may qualify for an emergency payment. Give them a ring first thing and see what you're entitled to.
Poor thing, big hugs xxx
If you work part or full time you could ask your employer to pay you some holiday pay, as an employer I have staff regularly ask for this to get them out of trouble. Also could try salvos if they couldn't give you cash they usually do food hampers ect also could ask centrelink for an advance, just remember to take your police report when you go to talk to them as proof that your telling the truth
