I hate being at home ! Does anybody else feel like this ? I'm 26 weeks pregnant with my second , my partner n I have a 7 year old and a 12 year old family member living with us. Every time we are home we are all fighting , I am constantly having to gett up everyone to clean up after them selves , partner doesnt help out at all & is always moody & cranky and just horrible to be around. I love him and we have our good times of course but I'm just sick of dealing with him everyday . He's like an overgrown child. yes we have tried different ways to change this but it usually lasts a week then goes straight back to normal Arrgh. I don't know if this is more of a rant or a what would you do ? Advice please Frm one very exhausted mother /partner .

I would suggest having a family meeting, getting it all out on the table. Get the kids to write down some things they want to change so you can get their perspective. Do up a chores chart, praise their good behaviour. It is really important to do this otherwise all they hear is nagging. Maybe you and your partner need to have a good talk, possibly counselling to work through your issues. So you both know the others expectations.
