I have heard lots of people doing bulk buy their fresh fruit and veg as a cost saving thing. I have recently got a big fridge&freezer and want to try this. I am falling short of ways how should most fruits be stored. I am planning to buy for a month at spud shed. I know i can freeze certain fruits for smoothies like bananas n strawberries but how to store for kids morning tea? My kids preferred fruits are apple, orange n grapes. Also for the vegetables i can chop and make small portions to freeze but i have no idea what to do with potatoes. Also what have other people found out to be a better way to store, is it freezing raw or freezing after cooking them? im pretty much into experimenting mode and feeling bit lost.

I freeze raw vegetables in snap lock bags. Potatoes I don't bother freezing because they last ages anyway. I freeze bananas as they are about to go brown and use in baking. I've never frozen other fruits so interested to see what others do.
