I have just found out my husband and I are expecting our fourth child. It was a complete surprise after deciding we would stop at three, but after the initial shock, I am getting used to the idea! We have three girls and our doctor laughingly said we'll probably have another girl. I want to hear from anyone who has had a baby of the opposite sex after having three or more of the same. I would love a little Mama's boy but of course will not complain if it's another girl. Thanks ladies! (And some guys of course)

I laughed reading this, my friend has 5 boys after trying for a girl 4 times after the first was a boy :(
My Mum had three girls and fourth was a boy (5th and 6th were girls though haha). My SIL has 4 girls. I know a lady who had 5 girls and her 6th was a boy. Unfortunately for you, knowing what other people have won't make a difference. Right now, it's a boy or girl already. My sister was devestated when she found out her 4th was another girl cause she spent everyday looking through boys names. I'd try not to think about it. X
I am one of those mums. After 3 beautiful boys I unexpectedly fell pregnant the 4th time giving birth to my little girl 8 weeks ago. I was told at scans it was a girl but I could not get my head to believe it and honestly thought I didn't hear right. I would have been happy other wise but gee the beautiful surprise seeing she was a girl was an unreal feeling. Boy baby dust your way x x
Currently pregnant with our 4 too after 3 girls. We tired the shelters method for conceiving.
The theory is boy sperm is fast but dies quickly and the girls are slow but last longer. So to get a girl you have sex before ovulation (never on or after) so the girls have time to reach the egg coming down. They boys have no chance as the egg is too far away and they can't make it in time. For a boy it's sex only on or after ovulation so the egg is right there and the boys can get to it before the girls get a chance.
We're only 10weeks atm but very interested if this will work, I used an ovulation stick to make sure I knew exactly when I was ovulation. This however isn't much use to too as your already pregnant. We too are happy either way, me personally would love another girl only because I came from all girls but hubby would love a boy, we're not counting our chickens but really happy either way. Will have to keep you posted in about 30weeks when we finally find out.

I had three boys, we decided we were done then we find out about number 4, total surprise. Number 4 turned out to be a girl, we would have been happy with either sex but it is nice to have a girl after all the boys
