First year of prep problems

Hi All my little man started prep this year. He has always been well behaved and social. He has just done 2 years at kindy so is used to being around kids ect. his teacher told me today that he is not ready for school and probably should have stayed at home this year, he is disruptive, is not dealing with the structure of school and is being silly in class. Now I'm not silly enough to think my boy is perfect but this is the first I have ever head him being described this way
surely she should ne be putting him in this category after only 3 weeks? My questions for other mums with boys is how long did it take them to settle into school and should I be letting this description worry me just yet? Have been trying to keep calm but am this close to calling the principal and discussing it further as I don't want him to struggle ect. Thanks for you info :)

Teacher will no quickly my son was a huge worry he is 4 as they start doing there program right away I think u need to look at ur opinions as it can making things worse in the long run and he may end up lost in the system

Call the school and have a meeting with teacher and principal and parents ASAP make an action plan and make sure everyone is on the same page. You need to nip bad classroom behaviour in the bud as it will only get worse as the years go on

Teacher will know pretty much within the first 2 weeks (that was what my kinder teacher told me anyway) make an appointment with the teacher and principal to discuss it further.
