Pregnant 10 weeks. I am 21 years of age.
Just wanted to ask other mothers, my doctor has only referred me now to be seen at the hospital for my antenatal appointment, my previous pregnancy was a molar pregnancy so I am a high risk this pregnancy. Just want to know they haven't scheduled me into be seen until late September this year? But the forms say that they prefer to see their patients before 12 weeks? Do I just go to the doctors for my 12 week check up because my appointment at the hospital is not until late September?
Thank you!

Hi hun. Im really Sorry for your previous loss. Big congrats on your new pregnancy. I had an ectopic pregnancy with my first pregnancy and I was told I would need a very early scan at around 6 weeks in my next pregnancy. Due to similar symptoms with my second pregnancy I ended up having an early scan at the ER at only 5.5 weeks with my son. Everything was ok and he was born in 2012. I'm now due any day with my second baby. So yes, I think you should have an earlier scan than usual. Best to ring the hospital that treated you last time for advice and to see what their protocols are. Chances are high, everything is ok. Good luck!! Xxx
If you are going through the public system sometimes you have to take what you can get unfortunately. Go back to your GP as they can manage your case until September, or they can sometimes ring the hospital on your behalf to push you forward.
yes im pretty sure hospital likes to see you around the 12 week mark usually not after 14 weeks if you are choosing to have the first nuchal translucency scan done.
