father not seeing his dd

father not seeing his dd

So I was just after some advice to go forward. My ex and I broke up well over a year ago. He invited my mum up for the weekend and told me when she leaves that I should go to. We now live 3 hours away. Which was his idea. Since I have moved he has seen his dd maybe a total of 5 or 6 times. He has seen her twice this year and the last time he saw he was almost 6 months ago. He always has an excuse of why he can't see her. He can't get time off work, bills to pay etc etc.
I am not asking him to take her every second weekend as I know he works 3 weekends out of the month. Am I wrong for wanting him to take her for 1 weekend a month. I am studying full time as well as working full time. This has been like this for over a year.
Am I wrong for wanting one weekend a month to myself

You aren't wrong to want a break but your kind of missing the point. Him having his daughter should be about what is good for your DAUGHTER not what is good for you. He should be desperate to spend time with his daughter but he isn't interested. Let the dead beat go his own way. If you need a break leave your daughter with someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with her like your mum.
