I did two rounds of the Depo shot starting in July 2014 and finishing in Early Jan. My GP advised it could take 6-18 mths for my periods and fertility to return. I was naive and not thinking of babies then. Now babies are on the cards and DP and I are so very excited. I was lucky to get my period back in March with a 29 day perfect cycle following in April.
How long did it take for your periods to return ? When did they become regular ? And most importantly how long did it take for you to fall pregnant ?

If you are from my family you will be pregnant within a week but it can take up to two years.

I missed my depo topup and fell pregnant. I've heard lots of people do. Drs tell you that it could take time, but you have NO guarantee of protection from the time it expires and I've heard of lots of women falling right away.
I was on it for a few years. Got my period back about 6 weeks after missing it and found out i was pregnant within 3 months of missing it. That happened twice, resulting in our 2 kids.
