failed pregnancies

Hi IMs :)

I have pcos (polycyctic overian syndrome) and trying to fall pregnant and stay pregnant. Ive been with my husband 3 years. Ive had 2 miscarriages and a blighted ovum all terminated naturally within the first 10weeks. I am taking metformin and have lost 12kgs and continuing on my weight loss journey. I recently found out that i dont actually have anymore cycts on my overies but still have higher than normal testosterone levels. I'm not diabetic my sugars levels are normal. After i last miscarried i didnt get another period for 4 months but have been regular for the last 6 months but nothing is happening.

My question is have other women out there been in a similar situation to mine and were you able to carry to full term? What questions do i need to ask my doctor as it feels like they arent doing a lot for me. Or is staying on metformin the best i dont know.

You will get there! My mum also has pcos. She was told she could never have kids naturally. Tried ivf, she fell pregnant with twins, one died very early on in the pregnancy, the other was a still born. Then, she went to the doctors for some other reason and found out she was pregnant with me! She didnt believe them at first. 18 months later she gave birth to my younger brother. Both healthy babies. You can do it! Goodluck xx

I have pcos and 2 miscarriages1 healthy daughter and one on the way! We did clomid, when I fell I was on metformin and low dose aspirin, had my progesterone levels tested and they were low so started taking progesterone pesseries to get me into 2nd trimester, then changed to clexane injections and metformin in second trimester! Find a great ob that will listen! All the best xx
