At the end of the year we are pulling our kids out of a government primary school and going to a private school. I know we have to fill out an exit form but do we HAVE to tell them the school the kids will be going to? If we had to tell them then we would but because we have had a negative experience at this school we just want a clean break.

Iv exited twice without giving a destination school but these were interstate and across state moves which we didn't know where exactly we would be landing. The new school will request the file anyway is my understanding of it although none of their records from the previous state seem to be evident even though multiple specialists and assessments have requested them and iv given consent. I think because it is the NT and not a state the relevant bits are held by health not ed which could be why as health there is federally funded.
