Hi I just had an abdominal ultrasound and the findings were that I have an enlarged liver and has a diffused increased echotexture. Also a 10mm cyst on one of my kidneys. I was wondering if anyone has had or have these problems and what was your outcome?

I was in hospital for sciatica pain and I happened to mention that I had been urinating more frequently, I was rushed to ultrasound and they found a small cyst on my kidney about 8mm which they said contributed to the fact that after running other tests it was found that I had a kidney infection.
Fast forward about 6 months and I had had another 2 kidney infections, after 9 months they did another ultrasound and found it had grown to about 12mm, they decided not to do anything about it for now but I have to go back yearly to monitor its growth.
The only issue I have is increased chances of kidney infection, about 4-5 in the last year.
Usually they aren't even bad enough to have antibiotics and I just rest and drink lots of water and ural to help flush, but other than that nothing to out of the ordinary.
