Hi everyone. After 2 yrs of unsuccessfully trying to concieve baby number 3, i have been diagnosed with endometriosis. I am on a waiting list to see a specialist from gynaecology but wanted to hear from other ladies who have been through similar. Did you need surgery? Were you ever able to concieve again? Were you able to concieve naturally? Sorry for so many questions and thankyou in advance.

I had surgery for endometriosis twice and still conceived naturally. Best of luck with whatever happens.
I spent 18mths ttc with my first (spent 3 mths of that on fertility treatment) I knew I had endometriosis as well as PCOS. In the end I gave up on ever having children of my own when I was surprised with a positive hpt. I had the endo surgically removed between him and number 2 and conceived 3 mths later, and have had number 3 as well. A very good friend of mine was told she would never be able to have children hers was so bad and now have 3 lovely boys. Dont give up hope for another child it is possible may just take a little longer. Big hugs endo is not a nice thing. Can I ask have you had surgery at all as the only true way to diagnose is through surgery.
I have endo, they found it behind my uterus & checked both Fallopian tubes when I was in my early 20s. Only ever had the 1 laparoscope & have fallen pregnant naturally 3 times in my 30s without ever having to worry about it again... I know lots of women who have had a good surgical 'clean out' & then happily fallen pregnant naturally. Also if you're not already being treated by a fertility accupuncturist, get onto it! All the best :)
I can't answer your question but see if you can find endometriosis Australia on Facebook, then you may be able to connect with others in your area going through the same battle who could give you more advice.
