What would you class as domestic violence. I had my ex come around (dropping off his son) and started to yell, swear and call me names. He even grab the gate and stopped me from closing it. My neighbors heard but even worse was the fact that my 6yr old was inside listening to him carry on as well. It's not the first time he has done this.. I just don't want it to happen again. Why should we have to put up with his bad behavior. Is their anything that I can do to stop this? (Btw. I don't drive so pick ups and drop off are at my home).
Domestic violence or not?

Id start meeting at a neutral location. Even if that meant I had to catch a taxi or public transport home. If you have a family member or friend who'd be prepared to do the pick ups and drop offs (and drive you) then that's an option too. I know some people organise to meet at the police station.
Intimidation and verbal abuse are certainly domestic violence. Speak to a domestic violence councilor, there should be one in you area. Ask your locsl council. They will explain your options when you tell them what's going on.
