Hi fellow IM's
I am thinking of taking my daughter to either Disneyland in California or DisneyWorld in Florida next year ( she will be 5 ) Just looking for some advice on which would be better to go to and if she will really enjoy it at 5 or should i wait until shes 6-7.Also how much spending money will i need to take with me and can anyone recommend a good travel agent to plan it all for me ? We live is Brisbane . :) Thanks

We haven't been to disneyworld but have been to Disneyland on numerous occasions and LOVE it! I'd go back every year if I could lol at 5 she will love it although there may be some rides she won't be tall enough to ride. We usually average between 5 or 6 thousand spending money but there is 5 in my family. Also if your confident enough to book things on line yourself you will save a ton of money :)
Thanks for the feedback , can i ask is it better to stay at one of the disney hotels or one of the others close by ?
It all depends on your budget :) we have always stayed at neighbouring hotels but if our budget allowed is probably stay on site lol we have stayed right across the road and also further out where a shuttle was needed to get to Disneyland. We enjoyed both
I would wait a year or two. Give yourself some extra time to plan and save money. And at 6-7 she will be old enough to go on more rides and more likely remember the experience.
Don't waste your money, she is too young. my friend did this a few months ago with her 7 and 5 year old. she says she will not do that again. i went to la last year too. not the best place.
