dead bead dad

hi mums and dads i have a question please no nasty comments...

my kids have a dead beat dad who chooses when he wants to see them it has been almost a year yet again since he has contacted them he decided to call and ask to see them now this is a common thing with him when the kids are an inconvenience he wipes them he lied so he didn't have to see them for Christmas didnt even call.. this has been happening for 5 years now so when he asked i told him i will ask them they said no so ofcourse im not going to force them to do anything they don't want to do. also I don't think its fair that he has anything to do with them as he has let them down so many times and I'm always picking up the heart broken pieces it messes with them far to much and they suffer for it at school and within themselves..

there have been dvo's 3 to be exact all for the same thing also a breech on one of these which was him assulting me in front of my kids which he still thinks is my fault. he owes over $10,000 in child support works cash in hand and gets the dole (yes i have reported no way of catching him apparently) he has never helped out with the kids or even asked how they are going at school..

i guess my question is can i refuse his access even if its court ordered he is a horrible person and horrible to the kids sorry for the mess of a post but any helpful advice will be appreciated
