Hi looking for advice on ivf
Two weeks ago I had one embryo transferred through ivf. Thursday I took a home pregnancy test which came back positive. But Wednesday I started bleeding like a period with cramping and back aches. I took another one today which again was positive and also had blood test done with my gp as advised by the fertility clinic.
I'm feeling really worried and confused. I'm still bleeding. I get my test results tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone could offer some advice that has been through something similar. Much appreciated.

Not with ivf but I had the worst period of my life when I was 2 weeks with my first. She is a happy healthy 2yr old. Try to relax, you can't change the results no matter what they are. Sending huge hugs and baby dust x
Same! I bleed quite a bit before finding out I was 5 weeks along! I thought it was my period so I didn't do a test (could of been, or been something else?!!) My baby was born prematurely but is a healthy 2 year old now!
The same thing happened to me. The IVF clinic said it can be normal especially after everything you've been through (if it was a fresh embryo transfer) I was bleeding light - medium and also had bad back aches up until around 8 weeks of pregnancy. I found the IVF clinic a bit cold they said oh well just wait & see because we can't save a MC and wouldn't give me an ultra sound because they said it was to early..a friend ended up taking me to the ED & they gave me an ultra sound especially after I told them I was in pain because they were worried it could be eptopic. I ended up only being 5 weeks & 4 days and they did an internal ultrasound and found a heart beat. I continued to bleed until around 10 weeks. My bub now 15 months !!
