I am in a very happy marriage and have two beautiful children (4 and 2) and have always said I was done having kids, however after a pregnancy scare I can't stop thinking about the possibility of another child. The biggest hesitation I have is I am going back to study this year so having another child would mean juggling study with three instead of two children. It would also mean pushing my career back another few years. I would love to hear from some mums who have three children and how difficult they found the transition. Thank-you

My husband and I had talked about having a third baby for a few years. Last year I told him that it would have to be soon, or not at all. I didn't want to be in my 40s and waking 3-4 times during the night. Our eldest was 6 and our youngest was 4.5 when #3 came along. DS fits perfectly into our already hectic lifestyle. He is the easiest of all three to look after! I found the transition from one to two babies harder than adding a third. Our family now feels complete!
