Confused about child care benefits

My partner and I have a 2.5 year old son and we're looking at sending him to daycare 2 days a week to play with other kids (its going to heartbreaking for me) as he really needs to be social. Daycare is the only option as we live in a very small mining town in NSW with one mothers group, I attended it for the first time about a year ago and they were horrible to me so I never went back. I dont know anyone here so I have no friends which is hard.

The only daycare we can get him into is a registered in-home daycare. The daycare mum sent me a link to the Centrelink website in regards to child care benefits. She said you could get back upto 50% of your cost of fees if you're eligible. Its so confusing and I dont understand it. I'm a stay at home mum and my partner earners over $120,000 per year, we receive no government assistance in anyway. Could someone please tell me if we would get anything back or does my partner earn too much? TIA
