Clotting during period (sorry, it's a little TMI)

Hi, I'm just wondering if clotting during a period is normal? I usually pass just small ones about size of 10 cent coin and some about the size of a 20 cent coin but today and tonight I've passed a couple of larger ones.....maybe the size of two 50 cent coins next to each other. I've had a baby 8 months ago, regular delivery and recovery. I had a miscarriage about a year and a half ago that was very intense. With a large amount of bleeding and very very large clots (baseball sizes) but I'd think that all of that would have been gone out of my system by now. I'm a little freaked out by it. Is it normal? Sorry for the TMI post

My youngest was born 1 year ago and I often get clotting during my period, usually 20c/50c piece. I'm fully breastfeeding also and have had a regular period since 4wks pp.

You poor love! I don't know anything about clotting, but I did have a girlfriend who use to get them and she went to the GP and all was ok, but obviously we are all not the same so I'd suggest go to your GP and if you can put the clot in a container then take it with you too. I know that sounds gross, but they might ask to look at it. Good luck x

I've always had clots since I started getting my period when I was 13 (I'm now 29 with two children). I think they got a bit better as I got older (haven't had a period for awhile as my baby is only 9 weeks).
The clots were never a problem, but if you're worried just make a quick trip to the dr. Better to know for sure and have peace of mind.
