Child modelling

Does anyone have an advice on how to deal with modelling agencies? I have applied with a few and they are interested in meeting my 2 year old daughter. I would really appreciate any advice/experiences other IM's have had. I am in Melbourne.

My best advice, don't take it too seriously. It's just a bit of fun. If it works out it works out, if it doesn't it doesn't. Agencies don't like stage mums.

Just be careful. There are many agencies which will tell you that your child has been "chosen" as a client when really everyone gets chosen & they charge you a fee for photos and start-up with no guarantee of work.

They will all express interest as you have to pay fees. Doesnt mean there will ever be any work.

My 2 year old is signed for BUMP models (Sydney based but lots of castings and jobs in Melbourne) and Showkidz talent in morabbin Melbourne she's been signed up since new born and has had 3 jobs in total and 5 castings however the jobs she got paid quite well and easily paid back plus some the cost of photos and signing up of these two companies and their directors are awesome
