Hi everyone,
I'm currently helping with planning my baby shower and could really use some cheap but cute ideas for food.
We will be having a lunch time baby shower with approximately 35 guests attending and budget is a serious issue.
I'm having a gorgeous little boy, so we will probably end up with a blue theme (we're making fairy bread with blue sprinkles, for example). We have a spare fridge so food that can be made the night before is helpful.
We don't want to have too many cake or pastry products because we're getting a big, expensive baby shower cake and don't want people to be all sugared out by the time we decide to cut it!
Thanks in advanced!

Devon Rolls are always great for finger food and easy to make.
mashed potato rolled in Devon that can be made the night before plus you can add a little finely chopped onion in the potato for variety if you like.
Cob loaf as you can make a pretty cheap filling. Zucchini Slice, basic dip by mixing sour cream and corn relish together and serve with carrot and celery sticks.
