Myself and hubby have our own business been in business for 7.5 yrs, also have 3 kids and I work between 10 to 40 hr per week depending on if staff are behaving. I also get to the point where it's like is it all worth it ?? Stress finances ect ect. My advise to u higher a book keeper that will help u keep ur paper work up to date, be organised, with rosters I always work a month in advance with rosters we have 15 staff, as hard as it is and as frustrating as it is if the house doesn't get cleaned today don't stress it willbe their tomorrow :) just take each day as it comes
It sounds like it's time to simplify. It's a bit if a myth that we can have it all and not feel stretched. Reasses what's really important, down size, simplify and out source what you can. Make sure you make time to be just you, because if you don't fill your cup you give back. I recently had a girls weekend it was the BEST, came home feeling revitalised and like I had a lot more Quality me to give.
I have found personally, going to counselling has been amazing. I don't have any friends where we are (haven't been here long), hubby works longer hours than I do on the business, we have two young girls and there's plenty of other stresses like finances, family etc. I was completely against counselling at first but oh my gosh it's so nice to be able to go and vent and let it all out and at the end of it be given some strategies to cope better and feel like I'm me. It's so easy to feel like "me" is getting lost between work, children, hubby, housecleaning and all that other stuff.
With the business, if there's things that someone else can do better, hire them to do it. We've discovered it's definitely not worth the time and stress of doing something that might take us 20 hours to do when someone else could do it in 2. Get someone to look after you kids so you and your partner can go on a date night or even a weekend away (if finances and business permits). Find time to yourself every day, even if it's half an hour in the shower. Give yourself a break, because if you lose the plot then everything else around you will too. Take care of yourself first and the rest will follow :)
