I am a very busy working mum....I'm also very frugal! We always have ravioli, I just buy the pre made stuff at ALDI. I cook as per instructions and mix with some tomato sauce from a jar (like spegetti sauces) and I boil some peas ect and mix it through, kids love it.
Spegetti is another one, lasagne, butter chicken and rice, soup, pasta bakes. I use left overs Too for example if we have left over roast chicken I'll make toasted wraps with chicken, cheese, salsa ect
My kids have a LOT of variety and will eat everything, I'm quite lucky (they are 3 and ate thai red curry with prawns the other night!)
I think spaghetti bolognese. You can pack it with veggies and flavour and pasta is so cheap as is meat. You can make double the sauce so you can freeze for another night.
