blood type A-

Hey lovely ladies.

I am after some successful pregnancy stories from women with A negative blood.

Hi I'm not A- but I am O-. I had to have anti-d needles during my pregnancies and one after birth as both my babies had their fathers blood group A+. I'm not sure if there's a difference between A- & O-, but apart from the anti-d needles there were no issues with my body attacking my foetuses. Usually it is only subsequent pregnancies that the issues can occur and only if baby is a positive blood group (which mine were), and by then you already know that you need the anti-d injections so you can make sure this doesn't occur :) Good luck, stop stressing mumma x

i am not A- i am O- I don't know if your asking about the rhesus negative or something else i don't know about relating to A- blood.
Iv had 2 miscarraiges. and 1 suspected...
long story short, i misscarried my first known pregnancy, and the doctor never tested my blood so i never had the shot. second pregnancy missscarried had the shot and learned about rhesus negative. it was then i realised I think i had a missarrage before the first known pregnancy ...
anyways I eventually got the shot, in my pregnancy with dd they tested me positive for the rhesus negative anti bodies but i had no issues after I had receive the anti D... my daughter is positive blood same as her father and there were no issues once i had the shot. had the shot after birth again and am now 3 months pregnant.
i think as long as she gets the shot she should be fine. xx

I just learned today I misscarried
The doctors told me they could never gare tee the shot will work now as the anti bodies already formed :/ please just make sure she gets the shot

I'm B- and my daughter is AB+. I had the anti-D needles the whole way through and when she was born and we were both absolutely fine.
