Hi I.Ms
I'm after any tips for ensuring a good balance of quality time with children/housework/work (including planning at home)/self and time with husband.
I'm returning to 3 days of teaching next year and I want to make sure I balance everything.

Try to be kind to yourself, going back to work is really stressful. The best thing to do is try to stick to some kind of routine and schedule. However saying that if the routine goes out the window be ok with that too. You will find your groove. All the best!
It's hard. I went back in August with a 10month and a 2.5yr old. Being organized is the key. Daycare bag packed and kids clothes layed out night before. I bath them the night before. I start at 8am in the city so do a 630am drop off at daycare. Poor buggers.
They both love it. Which makes it slightly easier. But it's hard. I feel guilty over the 2 days I go (luckily my mum does Monday). I also pick up a shift on the weekend. Which my husband really enjoys as he gets both the kids too himself. He really enjoys the one on one time!!
I'm so lucky!!
