I am having a thyroid scan done soon. But i have been told i need to dump my breastmilk after its done. Im not too sure for how long. The problem is i have a 5 month old that will not take a bottle. I have tried close to nature and avent bottle and she pushes them back out with tongue or gags. Any suggestions would be helpful.

ditch the bottle completely, try a sippy cup or even just a normal cup. All 3 of my kids never took a bottle (6, 4, 2) but would take bm from a cup (if I wasn't around) if I was there it was much harder to refuse them boob as they didn't understand. Best if you can get someone else to do the feeds for however long you have to pump and dump for.
I resorted to a syringe (with no needle) or a medicine dispenser.
Get some apple puree put alittle on the tip of bottle then put in his mouth. They suck cos they like the taste of the apple once they give a few good sucks and realise its milk they usually get used to it. My son was the same when my milk dried up over a few days and this was the only way we could get him to learn to suck on a bottle.
