Hi ims. Im really not sure what to do next...
I know what i did was stupid and irresponsible ect ect... beleive me ive spent every day kicking myself for it but i need some advice.
I recently had too make a long trip too take my son to an appointment (5 hours each way) and on the way home was fined for speeding (was not intentional, just happened too go with the flow of traffic and not pay attention too my speed due to the long day id had and being tired) and lost all my points meaning i lose my licence for 3 months.
I am filing too appeal the suspension as i have never been in any trouble with police or anyone for that matter and have too have my licence for work, aswell as for my childrens health reasons. Ive even upgraded cars so i can now set my speed thingy too beep at me if by chance i get distracted and speed again.
My question is once ive filed the appeal what do i do next?
Do i need a lawyer? Legal aid? What do i take with me? I am scared too death of standing up in court especially since ive never had too before! I need as much advice and help possible. I know im going too be a nervous wreck on the day especially having anxiety but hoping that being a bit more prepared will help me cope on the day....
Thanks

This happened to me when i was on my ps. You can research on the Internet for letters appealing to judges for license back. I was driving without a p plate and was going to lose it for 3 months, but thank goodness i wrote a letter explaining why i needed it, i was given my license back with 1 point for 2 years. Get a letter from ur employer and your sons drs, explaining you need to travel for his health. Goodluck.xx
This is my post and i just want too add that i am on my red ps meaning once i reach 4 points i lose my licence which is what i got, a fine and 4 demerit points. I did state in my post i have NOT been in trouble before. And i am allowed too drive until the court date. I also live in nsw
