Was told I had a partial molar pregnancy. After dating scan which dated earlier than I thought - gestational sac was 5 weeks and not the 7 that I thought. Mind you I have been breastfeeding so I couldn't tell you when I ovulated!!!!
Went to hospital for the surgery but was told HCG levels were fine, so not molar. So that it's still a baby. But then Had another scan still no fetal pole at 5 weeks 5 days. That's ok, right? It's still just possibly too early ... Also in the scan the 'grape' cysts weren't there. So the specialist says it's not molar.
If it's not molar, and there's no fetal pole is it something else? I gotta wait ten days now for another scan to confirm. This is horrible not knowing if it's a baby or not!!!

Hang in there mumma... I know it's easier said than done but that is still very early to get a heartbeat! I have had friends that haven't had one till 7/8 weeks. Personally my little one had one at 6 weeks and 3 days but they seemed surprised they found it. As for the molar I have no experience with that sorry. Wish you a happy healthy 9 months of pregnancy and a healthy bundle of joy. :-) All fingers and toes crossed for you.
I've recently found out I'm pregnant, so have been reading alot of books. The heart is only slightly pumping at 5 weeks, it's about 8 weeks where it is really visible. They say it can be seen earlier but is less likely.
I think I'm 6 weeks and 6 days (going off my dates) and have not yet had a scan.
I've never heard of a Molar pregnancy so can't share any insight on that. All I can say is try not to worry. Your bubba needs a stress free mum :) goodluck with everything :)
