Hi ladies,
Okay so here's my story....
Basically I had an abnormal pap in April, had a colposcopy/biopsy to confirm I had CIN2 with HPV. I was an absolute mess when I found out. I automatically thought it was cancer, was in tears etc. My gyno said it really wasn't that bad and he sees this all the time apparently.
I had my LLETZ procedure done in May and have to wait until November for a pap then December for another colposcopy.
I am still soooooo worried, I think about it all the time! I lose sleep over it. I fear that when I do the next lot of check ups that I will still have the CIN2 or its gotten worse etc.
I have also been contemplating having baby #3 but I know if I did conceive now I would be a mess the whole pregnancy due to the CIN hanging over my shoulder.
Has anyone had CIN2 and had a LLETZ and had negative results upon check up? I am hoping when I do my pap and colposcopy that its all gone or has reduced to CIN1.
Any stories or advice would be awesome!
Thanks girls. :-) xo
Dee.

Yes. I did ! I was cin2 borderline 3 I had 4 pollops removed before I had a letz. 6 weeks later he said I'd healed well, my next Pap smear came back abnormal, then a follow up Pap smear came back negative. I haven't had a pap smear in 2 years but I'm about to have another one, I had a child 18 months ago and have healed very well.
My gyno said I healed well at my 6 week check up post LLETZ too.
So when you had your pap come back again abnormal, what happened?
So your CIN went away? Did you have HPV also? :-)
They said it was caused by HPV but I was told it should go away by itself within 2 years No CIN grades... Before I had my baby they did a few test and all came back clear. So I'm guessing its gone?? But I haven't found a doctor I'm comfortable in my new town so i will find one I trust and get my next test done. But the gynaecologist said that if you have sex 24 hours before test that can alter the results.
Sorry for the 21 questions love.
So they said after the lletz the hpv should go away by itself? Is that what you mean?
Yes you definitely need to have a gyno you are comfortable with. My gyno is just straight up lol, he doesn't beat around the bush. And I prefer that in a gyno to be honest, im not there to chit chat. :-)
I am just reaaaallllllllyyyy hoping come November pap and December colposcopy its all gone. It's seriously making my life hell. I constantly worry about it. :-(
And thank you for mentioning about sex 24hrs before examinations, I will remember that.
yes, after letz the hpv would go away by itself :) i need another gyno. but ill find one :)
I had CIN3 and never had any problems after LLETZ. I know a few other women who had the same thing and they were all fine after too :) dont stress (try not to anyway)
That's awesome to hear!!! :-)
I dunno if it's me being paranoid but I always think I feel something there. This has only happened since finding out I had an abnormal pap.
Almost like a bloat feeling or like that feeling of when you hold your bladder for so long then wee you get that feeling afterwards. :-/
My partner believes it's just me being paranoid. Did anyone experience this?
