My husband and I are thinking about starting a family, however 7 years ago I was diognosed with PCOS. When I was diognosed I didnt think much about it as I was noway near thinking about children, however now I am concerned it will have a real impact on us. I think I am stressing unnecessarily, but I just need to know there is hope.

It's worth having a chat to your GP about this. Generally things you can do is be healthy. If you are carrying some extra weight loosing a few kilos can help. Tracking your cycles can be helpful (a period doesn't neccessarily mean you are ovulating). Your GP can give you more specific information for your exact curcumstances. You should start taking folate while you are trying to help prevent some birth defects.
every person i have spoken to with pcos myself included, fell pregnant as soon as they either hit the gym or cut out all unnatural sugar.
The food you eat plays a big part. Limit or remove all added sugar, quit caffeine and increase fruit and vegetable intake. I swapped lattes for real chair tea latte, drank lots of home made juice, steamed veggies and cut down on alcohol and got pregnant within 3 months. Also, try to stop thinking about it, stress pays a big part. Good luck:-)
