I'm a mum of 2 little kids, just over a year apart. I constantly feel like I'm anxious. I could be watching the news and there's stuff about sick kids or kids being abducted and it makes me feel absolutely sick and I get so scared that's going to happen to me.
I can lay in bed and make myself feel sick at night about things that could happen. I think I just want to know I'm not the only one.
Or what are ways I can help ease this? I have to triple check doors are locked if not more because I'm so worried. I can't stay at home alone with the kids it makes scared.
Thanks mummas and dads too
Ps. I'm more of a Facebook reader so if it was posted to Facebook that would be amazing

Ok, turn the news off! I find understanding the chances of bad stuff happening reassuring. Look at the crime rates in your area, what are the actual percentages if child abductions in your area? And are the majority family abductions? Think logically and don't allow yourself to perseverate, do something that distracts you when those thoughts come on. It's not healthy to be in a heightened state of anxiety that often. Talk to your GP too.
Your not alone I feel the same way! Not to the degree of what you have described but sometimes I can get myself so upset thinking 'what if'. I think it is any mothers worst nightmare if anything were to happen to her children so it's only natural to have these fears. I try to put it to the back of my mind as much as I can.
